This series consists of material from 1942-1955, produced or acquired by the Missionary Education Department for use in packets sent to congregations. The packets contain samples of material available for purchase, along with suggestions and directions for use of the material. Packets include pamphlets and leaflets pertaining to mission work and also general topics related to the role of the federation in the life of the church and the role of members within the federation. There are materials pertaining to the different mission fields, at home and abroad, in which the ALC worked. Also included are copies of skits, plays, services related to mission themes, and educational and outreach programs. Each packet includes a list of mission topics and themes for the year, hints for group discussions, and suggestions and directions to take throughout the year. Packets are available for 1942-1955, the only exception being that there are none available in this series for 1948 and 1954. For 1949 there is only the children's packet. Types of material in the children's packet are similar to those in the adult packet. Records are arranged chronologically.
